These are mass concrete tubes to be used in simple sewer system networks. They cannot great loads. Joints can be matched or lap welded, and unions have to be ringed with mortar or concrete to guarantee a good water tightness of the pipe. Resistance to crushing: test led according to the Prescripciones Tecnicas Generales para tubos de Saneamiento del MOPU 1986 (Technical Prescriptions).

Pipes of radial compression are the ones that vary from diameters of 30cm to 120cm. They can be reinforced or of mass concrete. All these tubes are produced by ICA. The radial compression system achieves very clean inner finishes, which is fundamental in order to get a successful usage in small diameter pipes. With this system, water tightness demanded by nowadays regulations is also achieved.
